Legal Tech Startup Calloquy Opens State-of-the-Art Dallas Office

The space is intentionally designed to facilitate hybrid work and empower a rapidly growing team to accomplish their mission of forging The Next Era of LitigationTM

DALLASMarch 7, 2023Calloquy, PBC, builders of the first platform intentionally designed to support how litigation is practiced now, is proud to announce the opening of its inaugural satellite office in Dallas’s burgeoning West End. Eager to bring its secure, efficient, and intuitive videoconferencing and evidence management platform to the national forefront, Calloquy has invested in over 11,000 square feet in the Luminary, the seven-story landmark at 401 North Houston Street. The new office, which is in a LEED Gold Certified building, has the capacity for the 100 employees who will one day work there and, in addition to the creative energy of its tenants, is full of energy-saving and sustainable features, and features several unique elements.

To accommodate a growing team of on-demand court reporters, a section of custom designed PODs (Privacy on Demand) units occupies one side of the floor. These are a modern take on the classic cubicle - fully enclosed to provide sound isolation with integrated power and technology needed for court reporting services, as well as an ergonomic design and motion activated lights and individual climate controls for comfort. The PODs address both the market need for quality, accessible court reporting services, as well as improving the work/life experience of Calloquy’s court reporters.

In addition to showcasing its unique company brand and culture, the location just a few blocks from the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum, the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, and the Dallas County Courthouse, serves to further highlight Calloquy’s legal mission and dedication to increasing access to justice for everyone. Additionally, the conference rooms and shared workspaces are all named after landmark Supreme Court cases that advanced civil rights. Shelley and Johnson rooms provide beautiful views of the Dallas skyline.

“We are so happy to be in Dallas and delighted to be part of the Harwood family of properties. Everyone with whom we have worked – in true Texas fashion – has been so welcoming,” said Nathan Regan, Chief Operating Officer at Calloquy. “We are incredibly proud to be here and so proud of the way our office has turned out. The features truly make for a collaborative and comfortable workspace for our SaaS team, and every detail reflects our mission and mindset as a Public Benefit Corporation. When considering where Calloquy would have the national presence, Texas stood out with its low cost of doing business and access to court reporting and tech talent. We considered multiple Texas locations, but Dallas stood out as a place where our employees could have easy access to good quality of life and commercial real estate options that fit the Calloquy brand.”
